This image truly shows off just how ugly our home was.  What you see here is the view from our bedroom into the dressing room.  Here are two of the five doors (and one window), all of which were framed with chair rail molding painted in high-gloss navy blue.  (There's obviously no need to comment on how small and hideous the master bathroom is!  Yikes!)  But a smallish room like this one is just overwhelmingly cluttered looking with:
     1) A small closet door
     2)  A slightly larger closet door
     3) A door to the guest room
     4) A door to our bedroom
     5) A door to the bathroom
     6) A window
     All of these things completely wreck and real functionality and essentially turn the room into nothing more than a big, fat hallway.  Well, that's all about to change.  It may be a dressing room for us but for the next owners it could be an office space or even a nursery and uninterrupted walls will be critical for furniture placement.  Hang in there because this one is going to get interesting.
