One of the side benefits of working on a room connected to another room that's supposedly 'finished' is that I'm forced to take care of little details that I put on the back burner for a rainy day.  Such was the case of the missing bedroom door moldings.  As ugly as this has been to look at I just put it off until today with no logical reason for having done so.  Think about it:  Our bedroom is where we spend about six out of every 24 hours.  It's the first thing we see each day.  Wouldn't it stand to reason that I'd want it over and done with ages ago?
By the way, notice the little oval frame with the beveled glass on the right?  That's Beth's idea.  She buys them at antique shops and auctions and we've been putting the 'before' shots of each room in them.  Pretty neato idea, huh?
