Doc's Follies
On the night of 4/20/2010, our friend -and breeder
of our Golden Retrievers- called us to say that Kyrie was in the process
of giving birth, and we could come out to see it happening. I'd
never seen anything but a human birth, so we ran right out just in time to
see one of the ten puppies being born. Kyrie's birthing patterns
usually happen in 1-hour increments, and she's skipped an our, so we
really lucked out.
You'll note the green colorations in the images.
This is bile, and is perfectly normal...if not a bit gross.. but the pups
are just too cute to be put off by a little afterbirth.
