| Throughout the
renovation process we've found some pretty strange things in the walls but the scrapbook under the attic floorboards
takes the cake. A lot of the stuff in it was fairly random and probably meant
something to one of the more recent owners (or renters), but we scanned
some of the more unusual articles and posted them here. Our neighbors had mentioned that the house had a pretty strange history but rarely elaborated on this. When they did they usually couldn't recall any names or years so this find was pretty enlightening. Up until now we'd always thought the decapitation murder that happened in the house across the street almost 50 years ago was pretty spooky, but it turns out our house has it beaten hands down.
