Our server was great...unless you take into account that he fully expected us to have their menu memorized, and was a bit impatient when we weren't ready to order our entire meals along with our preliminary iced tea's.  Talk about arrogance!  (I'd suggest their first question to any customer be, "Have you ever eaten here before?")
Once we got Miguel to comprehend that the Outback isn't a part of our daily lifestyles so that he'd give us a bit of breathing room, we spent about ten minutes deciding which version of "filet" we'd like.  We were then informed that they were out of filets, so we had to slap together a secondary options, and settle for something we didn't actually want.  We both chose the Prime Rib, something I never mind forking over the bigger bucks for!
Well, that's not phrased for total accuracy...
I don't mind paying when it tastes good.  The Outback's Prime Rib was a tragic insult to all cuts of Prime Rib everywhere.  It literally tasted rancid, as though the "aged" meat wasn't so much "aged" as it was "old."  I am not exaggerating here in any way shape or form.  It had a distinct acidic taste, easily discerned through the tiny slab of meat's complete lack of spices.
Our baked potatoes at least filled the void where real food should have been.
     Recommendation:

Save your money!  This particular Outback has too much of a "Get 'em in, Get 'em out" business philosophy.  The manager milled about bothering people by asking how their experience was, however it was noticeable that he only hit larger parties where so much alcohol was flowing that their taste buds were apparently numbed.  He could see that we were disappointed, and avoided asking us because he knew we'd probably tell the truth.
    And we did.

If you're the owner, would you like a second chance review?  Read the following....

Hey, when we do these reviews, we don't tell the management on duty what we're doing there.  The last thing we want is preferential treatment.  Our belief is that every business should open its doors to its patrons 100% at the top of their game, and if an establishment gets a bad review?  It was probably well deserved.  The same can be said for great reviews!

But everyone has a bad day now and then, and we're open to giving second chances.  This website gets thousands of hits from locals, tourists, and web surfers. Our intent has never been to crush a business just because of a lousy server, or because the head chef had to head out of town for a funeral.  Things happen, and we understand that, but the simple fact of the matter is that we work very hard for our money just like you.  When we honor a place of business by choosing it to spend our hard-earned cash, we expect it to be a good experience.  Anything less is insulting, and when that happens?  Buddy, you're going to hear about it, and so is everyone else.

If you want us to give your business a second chance, no problem.  We'll be happy to do so, but not on our dime.  We'll come by, and when we're done we'll tell the server to present the check to the manager who will zero it out as a business expense on your part.  Don't worry about the tip.  Your server will get what they deserve based on the price of the meal, and the service they provided.

However, we will not let you know when we're coming.  That's of utmost importance.  Every consumer should be given equal treatment, and if you run your business properly you should be okay with this concept.

And finally, if you're one of the many business owners who was happy with your review, thank you for what must have been a wonderful experience!  We're glad to get the word out to others that you're doing things right!
