The name is appropriate!  This will most definitely be "my" place to enjoy Thai cuisine from now on!
Thai restaurants have a tendency to go a bit overboard to offer up an authentic Thai experience.  Because of this, they all tend to feel the same way, and one might get the feeling that he or she should be able to speak Thai in order to feel at home.  It can make one feel a bit uncomfortable, especially if that person is new to Thai food.  My Thai breaks that tradition by playing music that patrons will be familiar with, and most of the wait staff actually speaks perfect English.
The general manager is an American, and he isn't afraid to give his clients a friendly shout across the floor to ask how everything is going.  It makes for a nice, relaxed atmosphere, one that makes people feel at home.  Personally, I detest when I feel that if I were to drop my fork I might offend the gods.  The atmosphere is still pleasant; it's just not "stiff."
Wondering how the food is?  I'll tell you right now, it's out of this world!  I've sampled quite a few of their dishes, and trust me; I know Thai food!  Every last item on the menu hit a home run, and was priced at or below what you might expect.  If you prefer your Thai with a bit of a spicy kick to it, I highly recommend the Red Curry.  It's crazy delicious!
      Service:  Excellent!
      Cleanliness: Excellent!
      Atmosphere: Excellent!
      Food: Excellent!
Prices: No sticker shock, so also "Excellent!"
That's five stars in my book, friend.  You can keep your upscale Thai restaurants with their high prices.  As far as I'm concerned, My Thai is the place to go!

If you're the owner, would you like a second chance review?  Read the following....

Hey, when we do these reviews, we don't tell the management on duty what we're doing there.  The last thing we want is preferential treatment.  Our belief is that every business should open its doors to its patrons 100% at the top of their game, and if an establishment gets a bad review?  It was probably well deserved.  The same can be said for great reviews!

But everyone has a bad day now and then, and we're open to giving second chances.  This website gets thousands of hits from locals, tourists, and web surfers. Our intent has never been to crush a business just because of a lousy server, or because the head chef had to head out of town for a funeral.  Things happen, and we understand that, but the simple fact of the matter is that we work very hard for our money just like you.  When we honor a place of business by choosing it to spend our hard-earned cash, we expect it to be a good experience.  Anything less is insulting, and when that happens?  Buddy, you're going to hear about it, and so is everyone else.

If you want us to give your business a second chance, no problem.  We'll be happy to do so, but not on our dime.  We'll come by, and when we're done we'll tell the server to present the check to the manager who will zero it out as a business expense on your part.  Don't worry about the tip.  Your server will get what they deserve based on the price of the meal, and the service they provided.

However, we will not let you know when we're coming.  That's of utmost importance.  Every consumer should be given equal treatment, and if you run your business properly you should be okay with this concept.

And finally, if you're one of the many business owners who was happy with your review, thank you for what must have been a wonderful experience!  We're glad to get the word out to others that you're doing things right!
