These pages are our personal diaries and are here to help others realize what it's taking us to get through the entire process.  Unless you're filthy rich you can't just buy an older Victorian and start painting away.  There are steps to be taken even before you move in and as you'll see they can be very frustrating but often rewarding.
    Some of these entries may offer you insight into things you've never even considered and some may actually scare a few people away from taking it on.
