1/31/2010      First entry for a new renovation project, and what a weak one it is!
     I installed a new thermostat today.  This is something I'd never done in my life so it was not fun.  It's in this room, so I at least did something in here after almost seven years.  Actually, as far as skills go, this room will be a real show stopper when the time finally comes.  We decided that we wanted a really cool little bar that could easily be converted into a kitchenette, but one idea led to another, and we finally decided that we'd make a British-style pub with all sorts of neat wood moldings, unique glass collections (Beth's idea), and an unwavering theme.  Our hope is that people will find it comfortable, and very inviting; a great place to just hang out, and sip on a beer or a brandy while talking.
